Chelsea can run the table with attackers back – Talk Chelsea

Plenty of fans and pundits had written off Chelsea after some bad Autumn results. We seemed to be sliding further away from European football with every week, and things were looking bleak.

But the Christmas period has been kind to us with our fixtures, and we’ve responded with 4 wins in 5 in the Premier League, along with a big win against Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi final second leg.

Predictions that this could be a big month to turn the season around are looking accurate right now. It hasn’t taken any transfers either, just some of the big hitters pulling their weight, plus some weaker teams to face off against, and let’s face it, a whole lot of luck which had deserted us earlier in the season.

If you’re going to pick one of the internet’s best betting sites, or as they say in China, 最佳博彩网站. Now is a great time to back the Blues to keep up this great form and make it into the top 6 by the end of the season.

The doubters are right – we have not been brilliant while picking up these results, we’ve basically just played weaker teams. But we’ve still managed to grind out the points in a way that we weren’t able to earlier in the year.

Not only that, but we’re finally getting a relatively fit squad. Once Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku are back – and it looks hopeful that they will both be ready for our next Premier League game – we will have only Reece James from our guaranteed starters out injured.

Missing players like Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu is bad for our depth, but it’s not going to affect our results in the same way that long periods without Nkunku, Ben Chilwell or James will do.

So if we can take a fitter than ever squad, some rising confidence plus the fact that teams around us are getting into the tough part of their season with European football soon to return, this seems like a great moment to back Pochettino’s Blues to make a second half of the season charge up the table.

Aston Villa, Brighton, West Ham and Man U are all above us in the table we’re confident that one or two of them will hit a rocky patch before the end of the season. We just have to make sure we keep up a decent pace and we can catch them. The Hammers, currently the 6th placed team, are just 4 points ahead of us now.
